I’m tired and writing this at 3 am because… I love Valentine’s Day. I don’t know what it is about this overly commercialized holiday, that makes me not hate it so much. Although I haven’t had a real Valentine’s date in a minute. But I still love Valentine’s Day and I’ll take myself out! I hope I’m not alone when I say that walking down the aisle of a seasonal candy section, (you know what I’m talking about) and I see heart shaped candy, I melt. I don’t know if it’s because of the candy or the holiday, but I still love it.

*I also work*
- Figure out what I want to cook … and yes for myself. I wanted crab legs but I only went to one store, so I got what I got . . . a heart-shaped stake.
- Get comfy and find something to watch. It just so happens to fall on a Friday, which is when I usually wake up to watch the 85 South Show on Youtube.
- Relax and love on myself!
Why do I have a love-hate relationship with this day?
I know I said I love it, BUT there’s not a lot of real romance out there. Now for anyone that is here to get defensive and tell me I’m wrong without listening, can go straight to Canada. I guess I’m old-fashioned when it comes to love, like honestly, how much do you really love me? I don’t have any children but one day when I do, I want to show them as much love as possible. When we were younger my mom would take my sisters and myself out to eat to celebrate together. I love that love can be shown in many different ways depending on the relationship.
Although my life hasn’t always been filled with love I still value and cherish the love that I have received. I plan on chilling and working for the rest of my living, where I want and doing what I love. Also warmth and water are a plus because this 2 degree weather is not for me!
