Struggling To Find Your Purpose

Lately I’ve been struggling to find my niche, my purpose, the thing I’m supposed to be doing for the rest of my life. It’s hard when you can see yourself doing great things but can’t figure out where to even start. I’m not doing anywhere near what I thought I’d be doing, but dreams don’t pay the bills. The challenge now is trying to sort out my schedule in a way that still allows me the time to do what I need to do.

My destiny isn’t the hard part of all of this, the journey to fulfilling my destiny is the hard part. The fact of the matter is I’ve wanted to do a lot of things in my life. I literally have a whole list of things that has interested me over the years. The problem is it’s not like I don’t find those things interesting anymore, I find it all interesting to be honest. There are things that I had to work to become good at, and then there are things that I’m naturally good at. I’m just trying to use what I’m good at to make a living for myself. That’s it, I want to monetize my God given talents.

  • It’s ok to not know what you want for a minute.
  • I will not to be too hard on myself.
  • I will push myself to new uncomfortable levels.
  • I will show up and show out for myself.
  • This road is tough and only the strong survive.
  • If you’ve made it this far, you might as well keep going!

Good morning! It’s a beautiful day to start believing in yourself. Start your Monday off with a prayer or with a positive word and it’ll jump start your day.

Hello I'm Mariah Eskridge and my goal is to encourage those who otherwise wouldn't have the support. I graduated from Illinois State University in May 2019 with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Accounting. I've been faced with plenty of situations that I would've loved having someone that I can relate to.
